Youth Cup Preview

Edgar Street hosts the latest round of the FA Youth Cup as Hereford welcome to Malvern Town this evening in the second qualifying round.

Malvern play in the league below and sit third in that division. They beat Worcester City 2-0 in the previous round of the cup. City currently sit top of Hereford's Division (Midland Floodlit Premier Division South). Malvern come into the game on the back of a defeat to Slimbridge last week but prior to that defeat they had started the new season with 3 wins.

Last time the two sides met Hereford ran out 6-0 winner two seasons ago and also recorded a 3-2 win away at Malvern. The winner will go into the hat for the final qualifying road (Third) due to be played.

Hereford will be hoping to put in another performance like they did in the previous round against Tipton Town. Manager Dan Chance should have a full squad to pick from for the game and after first team experiences for Marston and McLeod the players will be looking to catch the eye of the new first team head coach.

The match kicks off at 7:45pm with £3 for adults and Free for U16's, entry through the Executive Club (Main Stand/Next to Radfords). If you can't make the game, you catch it live on Radio Hereford FC.
