BNPL KO Cup Semi Finals

The draw has been made;

8 teams.
2 groups.
4 teams per group.
The top team from each  group qualifies to the final. (subject to rules).
Semi Final matches:  9th Feb v Leamington (Away).
                                 16th Feb v Ashton (Away)
                                 23th Feb v Brackley (Home).

Note: Exact match details are subject to change but the round will be for three consecutive Saturday matches starting 9th Feb

The figure in the final column denotes the teams current BNPL league position.

BNPL KO Cup Round 5 Quarter Final Standings

With only a few points gained from the last two matches and double points on offer for the final match there was always something to play for.
An HFC win always means lots of points for our predictors and yesterday was no exception.

Top two from each group proceed through to the Semi-finals.

IbstockBull was the only one that did not submit a prediction and it has cost them, finishing 3rd in group 1.

DJ, current league leader, and if I'm correct, over here on holiday from Canada finished bottom of group 4.

Highest scorer for the round was Wooden spoon, who actually picked up their 27 point from the first two matches.

Congratulations also to my two Meadow End buddies, Tamworthbull and Bully, both through to the semi finals. Incidentally, Bully is the leagues lowest place semi-finalist, currently 53rd while Istari is the highest in 2nd.

The draw for the Semi Finals will take place lunchtime tomorrow.

BNPL Standings after Blythe

Wow Jimmy scores on his return debut.  Is this the 'fingers crossed' striker that MR talked about a couple of weeks ago, the man is a genius.

77 entries for this match, down on the usual 83-87 predictions. What happened to you A's Crewe Bull, Barry The Hatchet, Dave Jones, Hereford Hoop, IbstockBull, PontyBull, RENE HIGUITAS TOP LIP, St Albans Bull, tehgob_66.

 Plenty picked Tom to score, and 14 also selected Jimmy to score.

 25 predicted a HFC win but no one predicted the scoreline, however 4 did predict 3 HFC goals, those being Alex Hardman, Bully, North York's Bulls and TurkeyBull.

11 were within 25 of the attendance (783) with the nearest being stevehalesowen (785), Basel (784) and everhopebull (784). However being close did not win the bonus points, those go to H Edwards who predicted the correct attendance of 783.

Highest scorer for the match was Hillster with his prediction, 1-2 (6pts), Tom (10pts) and 747 (6pts).

At the top of the league the winner was Istari up 2 to second with Podge and Liz & Ian dropping a place.

Highest climber for the match was Bullseye67 up 14 places. The biggest faller was IbstockBull, down 10 places. Not submitting a prediction may have also cost you a place in the KO Cup Semi-Finals......

Another 6 point match next week as we are home to Ashton.
